I bought this collar for my golden retriever a year ago. He swims a few times a week and is a very active dog. The collar only gets better with time, the water does not affect it in any negative way and the leather holds perfectly. I can and will recommend this product to anyone, I just absolutely love it. I also bought the multi use leather leash at the same time, it is also in perfect condition today and only gets better. Had another one witch I bought at Pet Smart. It broke within 3 months, this one is holding strong through pulling and ruffing.
